Our Approach

For NoBull's All-Day Ripstop launch, Motion Sick was brought in to create a :15 second teaser that felt as engineered as the shoe itself. Before a single frame was committed to, we ran an extensive R&D phase — shooting and testing until we'd found a visual language worth building on. From those explorations we storyboarded a sequence using our strongest frames as the foundation, then pushed further, experimenting with animation techniques outside the expected playbook until we landed on something that felt genuinely new. The result was a visually striking trailer that didn't look like a shoe ad. It looked like a short film about one. Custom sound design by our composer Kompany brought the whole thing together. Abstract, textural audio built from scratch to match the precision and edge of the visual. Thirty seconds of R&D became fifteen seconds of something worth watching twice.
